Jalayah Eason was located unconscious in her Bronx apartment.
According to reports, Eason was discovered in a comatose state with injuries all over her body, including her wrists.
In addition, the girl was discovered in the family’s filthy residence early Friday morning, May 26.
Lydia Eason called 911 and informed the authorities that she discovered her daughter chilly and not breathing inside a closet in their apartment on the 12th floor of the Forest Houses, an NYCHA facility on East 165th Street.
Lynija added that she attempted CPR, but her child remained unresponsive.
Jalayah was transported to the hospital, where she was ultimately pronounced deceἀsed, 15 minutes after the EMS response to the call.

As at the time of publishing this piece, Eason’s autopsy report had not been shared as the investigation is still going on.
Everyone is awaiting Eason’s autopsy, and we will be sure to update this article once the autopsy has been released.
After the report, it will help determine if homicide charges are warranted in the case.
As of now, Eason’s mom is charged with child endangerment for neglecting and harming her other two kids.
No further charges are expected until Jalayah’s autopsy is concluded.

According to Lynija, she found her daughter unresponsive and cold inside a closet in their apartment.
Despite her efforts to administer CPR, Eason did not regain consciousness.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived on the scene approximately 15 minutes later and swiftly transported the young girl to Lincoln Hospital.
She was pronounced dead later.

Lynija Eason, is currently being questioned by authorities following the fatal beating of her 6-year-old daughter, Jalayah Eason.
Prior to the incident, she had been boasting about her job on Facebook and expressing gratitude for her financial stability.
However, on Friday, Jalayah was discovered unconscious and covered in bruises in their disheveled Bronx apartment.
Witnesses reported hearing the young girl pleading for her life during the early morning assault.
Eason, who claims to work as a 311 operator, remains in police custody as the investigation continues, while the city’s Administration for Children’s Services ensures the safety of the other children in the home.
The online posts made by Eason gave no indication of the tragic fate that awaited her daughter.
According to Eason’s account, she found Jalayah cold and unresponsive in a closet and attempted CPR before emergency services arrived.
Sadly, the girl was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital.
Bruises and signs of trauma were discovered on Jalayah’s wrists and torso, leading to Eason’s questioning by the police.
Despite the tragic outcome, the authorities are focused on investigating the case and ensuring the well-being of the surviving children.
