Ruchee Gurung is a 24-year-old beautician who is appearing on Love Island 2023.
Speaking to ITV before going into the villa she said;
“I’m single and looking for love, and it’s the perfect opportunity for me to find someone. I’m really caring, when I’m with someone I’m all about them
“”I’m a relationship kind of girl, but so far it’s not worked out for me. So I’m looking forward to hopefully finding the right person in the Villa.”
When asked about her icks, Ruchee said;
“Guys with no ambition. I also get the ick if I see a guy wearing white jeans and red trainers
“Another one is super skinny jeans when they look like leggings. Fashion is such an important thing for me. If I go on a date and the guy isn’t wearing something I like, I’m going home.”

Tyrique Hyde was announced on social media as one of the first people to be entering the villa when the hit dating show returns to ITV next week.
Tyrique, 24, played for Lewes FC last season and joined the club in October, 2022.
The footballer said he would “bring vibes, confidence, good energy and honesty” to the Villa when he enters next week.
Tyrique added; “I don’t sit on the fence, if I have an opinion I will speak up. I’m also not afraid to go after what I want.”

Molly Marsh was the third contestant to be officially announced but she was heavily rumoured for a while.
The new arrival will be hoping to find love in the villa – and be in with a chance of winning the £50,000 cash prize.
As for why she wants to join the show, Marsh said;
“I think it’s ideal timing and the perfect way to find someone. I don’t go out and party and I don’t use dating apps
“I’m actually quite old-fashioned, so there’s no better way to meet someone than by going into a Villa in the sun with the potential ‘one’ in there.”

George Fensom is a 24-year-old business development executive from Bedford, who is appearing on Love Island 2023.
Speaking to ITV about going on the famous reality show, he said; “I’m the first person to bring the vibe up, I’m always dancing, I’m always the one who wants to go out
“My go-to dance move is what I call the Dad Dance, I’m gonna bring dad jokes and dad dancing to the Villa.”
George also spoke about his ideal partner, saying;
“I want them to be passionate about something, whether it’s a job or enjoying trips to the zoo on Saturdays
“I prefer a girl who is naturally good looking, and someone who has even more banter than me- although I don’t believe that’s physically possible.”

Catherine Agbaje is a 22-year-old semi-professional footballer who’s deaf in one ear, a musical theatre performer.
The Dublin native is hoping to find romance in the famous villa. Speaking to ITV Catherine said;
“I’m fun, I’m flirty, I’m just never boring. I can chat your ears off! Someone who is fun and a loving character. They know I have so much love to give.”
“I’m always smiling, I’m always happy, I’m always laughing. You’ll always see me with a smile on my face.”

Mehdi Edno is a 26-year-old French model.
Speaking about finding love on the hit show, he told ITV: “I’ve been busy for the last few years with work, and doing my Masters degree but now I’m done with the busy schedule, and ready to find love
“Looks are important but they aren’t everything, a good sense of humour and someone who is outgoing and up for an adventure is what I’m looking for.”

Jess Harding is a businesswoman who runs Candy Aesthetics in West London.
The beauty clinic owner is set to stun and amaze in the Love Island villa this summer.
Speaking to ITV about what she will bring to the villa, she said; “Firstly I think I’ve got quite a big personality and I’ve got a heart of gold.

Not left out of the confirmed line-up of islanders for this season is Ella Thomas, a Glasgow-based model who maybe familiar having appeared in a music video or two.
She was named Female Model of the Year at the Scottish media awards in October 2022 and aside from modelling, has also lent her hand to some other appearances.
Ella told ITV before heading off to the villa;
“I’ve been in a Headie One and Burna Boy music video and I was once an extra in World War Z. I was 12 years old when I filmed it and got to meet Brad Pitt which was cool.”

Gas engineer Mitchel Taylor, aged 26, is one of 10 contestants taking part in the new TV series airing on ITV2 and ITVX.
He has spoken about how he ‘thrives on being a gentleman’ and, asked how he intends to find love in the villa.
Taylor told ITV; “I’ll shower you with flowers, I’ll take you on dates, I’ll fill your bedside drawer with your favourite sweets and chocolate. I’ve been single, I’ve had my fun and now I want to settle down.”
Discussing his turn-offs, Taylor said;
“Food in your teeth and counting coins in your hand. When a girl stands at the bar counting out the coins to pay for a drink, it’s not for me.”

He is swapping the boardroom for villa life, and is appearing on Love Island 2023.
Speaking to ITV, he said; “I’m charming, I’m going to bring good looks and some language lessons.”
