Born into a family deeply rooted in the medical profession, Saini was inspired by his father, Dr. Umesh Saini, a distinguished medical professional who founded Nairobi West Hospital, one of Kenya’s largest private hospitals. He pursued his education at Oxford University, United Kingdom, earning an Advanced Finance Management qualification, which equipped him with the financial acumen essential for his entrepreneurial ventures.
Founding Bliss Healthcare
In 2012, Saini founded Bliss Healthcare with a mission to provide affordable and accessible healthcare services to underserved communities in Kenya. Under his leadership, Bliss Healthcare has grown into the largest network of outpatient medical centers in East and Central Africa, operating over 65 clinics and employing more than 2,000 staff, including 500 healthcare professionals. Each month, these clinics serve over 90,000 patients, reflecting Jayesh’s vision of bringing quality healthcare to the masses.
Expansion into LifeCare Hospitals
Building on the success of Bliss Healthcare, Jayesh expanded his vision by founding LifeCare Hospitals in 2017. This network of multi-specialty hospitals aims to address the gaps in inpatient care across Kenya. LifeCare Hospitals offer a comprehensive range of services, including primary and secondary care, surgical services, critical care units, and specialized clinics in areas such as cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology.
