Luis Rubiales career
Rubiales is a Spanish football official and former professional player who played as a defender.
He spent the majority of his playing career in the Segunda División, representing Guadix CF, RCD Mallorca B, UE Lleida, Xerez CD, Levante UD and Alicante.
Rubiales only appeared in 53 La Liga matches over three seasons, but he received the nickname Pundonor (Courage) for his tenacity on the field.
