Hunter Biden is an American attorney, businessman and artist best known as the second son of US President Joe Biden and his first wife Neilia Hunter Biden.
He has been involved in a number of business ventures, including serving on the board of the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings from 2014 to 2019.
Hunter has also been involved in legal and personal controversies, including allegations of drug use and financial impropriety.
He was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on February 4, 1970.
His mother and younger sister were killed in a car accident in 1972, and his older brother, Beau, died of brain cancer in 2015.
Hunter graduated from Yale University and Georgetown University Law Center.
He worked as a lawyer and lobbyist before co-founding a hedge fund in 2009.

In 2019, Hunter married Melissa Cohen, a South African filmmaker. They have one son together, Beau Biden Jr.
Naomi is a graduate of Tulane University and Columbia Law School. She is currently working as a lawyer in New York City.
Finnegan is a student at the University of Pennsylvania while Maisy is a student at Georgetown University.
Navy Joan and Beau are toddlers.
Hunter’s children have been the subject of much media attention, especially during the 2020 presidential campaign.
Some critics have accused Hunter of using his father’s position to benefit his children financially. However, there is no evidence to support these allegations.
Hunter’s children have also been the target of online harassment and abuse. In 2020, a group of hackers released private emails and text messages that Hunter had sent.
The emails and text messages were heavily edited and some of them were completely fabricated. However, the hackers’ actions caused significant distress to Hunter’s children.
