Lily Allen is an English singer-songwriter and actress.
She was born on May 2, 1985, and is the daughter of actor Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen.
Allen’s music career began in 2005 when she made some of her vocal recordings public on Myspace, which resulted in airplay on BBC Radio 1 and a contract with Regal Recordings.
Her first mainstream single, Smile, reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in July 2006.
Allen’s debut record, Alright, Still, was well received, selling over 2.6 million copies worldwide and bringing Allen nominations at the Grammy Awards, the Brit Awards and the MTV Video Music Awards.
In addition to her music career, she has also pursued acting having played Katurian in the play, The Pillowman, in London in 2023.
She has also appeared in several films and TV shows, including Elizabeth and Lesbian Vampire Killers.

Allen is married to David Harbour, an American actor known for his role in the Netflix series, Stranger Things.
The two secretly married in a low key wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in September 2020.
The couple had been dating since 2019 and moved in together during the coronavirus pandemic, with David staying with Allen and her two children from her previous marriage to Sam Cooper.
David and Allen exchanged vows at the Graceland Wedding Chapel, with the ceremony carried out by Brendan Paul, an Elvis impersonator who owns the chapel.
This is Allen’s second marriage, as she separated from Sam Cooper in 2015 after about four years of marriage, before finalizing their divorce in 2018.
In a recent interview, she revealed that she met David on a dating app and that they went on their first date at the Wolseley in London.
She also shared that she is happy in her monogamous relationship with David and that she would like to have more children with him in the future.
