Jordan Whitehead is an American football player who currently plays as a safety for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL).
He was born on March 18, 1997, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, and attended Central Valley High School in Monaca, Pennsylvania, where he played football and was a highly recruited prospect.
After graduating from high school, Whitehead committed to play college football at the University of Pittsburgh, where he played for three seasons from 2016 to 2018.
During his college career, he was a standout player and was named to the All-ACC team twice.
In 2018, Whitehead declared for the NFL draft and was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fourth round.
He has since become a key player on the Buccaneers’ defense, helping the team win Super Bowl LV in 2021.
Whitehead is known for his speed, agility, and hard-hitting style of play, and he is considered one of the top young safeties in the NFL.

However, he is in a happy relationship with Corinne Hurtado, an American-born former cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

After graduating from high school, Whitehead committed to play college football at the University of Pittsburgh.
He played for the Panthers from 2015 to 2017, starting all 12 games as a true freshman and earning Freshman All-American honors.
Over his three-year college career, Whitehead recorded 234 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and 6 interceptions.
In 2018, Whitehead declared for the NFL Draft and was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fourth round, 117th overall.
He played in all 16 games as a rookie, starting 11 of them, and recorded 76 tackles, 1 interception, and 3 passes defended.
In 2019, he started 14 games and recorded 68 tackles, 1 interception and 4 passes defended.
Whitehead’s breakout season came in 2020, when he started all 16 games for the Buccaneers and played a key role in their Super Bowl championship run.
He recorded 74 tackles, 2 interceptions and 6 passes defended during the regular season, and added 25 tackles, 1 interception and 2 passes defended in the playoffs.
Whitehead made a crucial interception in the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers, helping the Buccaneers secure a spot in the Super Bowl.
