The cause of death of Grinstead, a member of the R&B group 702, has not been officially announced.
However, according to Coop WB, she died from kidney failure, which is the same ailment that took the life of her twin sister, Orish, in 2008.

Grinstead rose to fame as a member of the R&B group 702 which was formed in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the early 1990s, and consisted of Grinstead and her sisters, LeMisha and Orish.
