Carrie Underwood is an American singer and songwriter who rose to fame after winning the fourth season of American Idol in 2005.

She was born on March 10, 1983, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Carole and Steve Underwood.

Underwood has two older sisters, Shanna and Stephanie, and was raised on her parents’ farm in the nearby rural town of Checotah.

Her single, Inside Your Heaven, made her the only country artist to debut atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the only solo country artist in the 2000s to have a number-one song on the Hot 100

Underwood has released several albums and won numerous awards throughout her career.

She is also known for her philanthropic work, including her partnership with the C.A.T.S. Foundation, which helps students achieve their dreams of attending college.

Underwood is married to hockey star Mike Fisher, and they have two children together.

She is also known for not letting anyone, including her husband, critique her music until it’s totally done.

Underwood is married to Mike Fisher, a former Canadian hockey player.

The pair got married in July 2010 after being introduced by her bandmate two years earlier, per Canadian Hockey.

Fisher proposed to Underwood in December 2009 with a stunning halo-setting ring with pavé diamonds along the sides.

The proposal also featured a beautiful round-cut yellow diamond as the center stone, which was reported to have cost $150,000.

They have two sons together, Isaiah and Jacob.

Mike Fisher career

The former Canadian professional ice hockey center who played for the Ottawa Senators and Nashville Predators in the National Hockey League (NHL).

He was drafted by the Senators in the second round, 44th overall, in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.

Fisher posted career playoff highs with 5 goals, 5 assists, and 10 points in 20 games in 2005-06 and was a finalist for the Selke Trophy, awarded to the NHL’s best defensive forward.

He had five goals and 10 points in the 2007 playoffs and helped Ottawa advance to the Stanley Cup Final, finishing second in the postseason with 73 hits. Fisher scored 22 goals in 2005-06 and led the Senators with 25 goals in 2009-10.

Fisher was tied for the team lead with 14 goals in 2010-11 when the Senators traded him to the Nashville Predators Feb. 10, 2011, for a 2001 first-round draft pick and a 2012 third-round draft pick.

Nashville went 15-8-4 after acquiring Fisher, who led NHL forwards with 89 blocked shots.

He scored 24 goals, including a team-high seven game-winners, in 2011-12 and won the 2012 NHL Foundation Award, which recognizes a player who applies the core values of hockey – commitment, perseverance, and teamwork – to enrich the lives of people in his community.

Fisher announced his retirement on May 12, 2018, after 18 NHL seasons, with no plans to return for another cameo.
