Recently, a video of Melissa went viral, sparking controversy on the internet.
In the video, she addressed the ongoing news regarding her relationship with Anthony Aranda and her contentious divorce from Rodrigo Cuba.
The pair’s initial disagreement began in October 2021 over Melissa’s relationship with Aranda, which was intended to ensure her safety.
Since then, their dispute has evolved, focusing on the custody of their youngest child, currently under investigation for potential impacts on their integrity.
The media exposure of the child has sparked concern, leading to the possibility of changes in legal custody.

The situation came to a head on June 13, when Rodrigo Cuba filed a complaint with the police accusing Melissa of blackmail and extortion.
In response, Melissa alleged that Rodrigo had tampered with her daughter’s concept of s*x compensation.
Cuba claims that Melissa forced him to do what she wanted.
Melissa counters that her allegations are based on their daughter’s videotaped statement, which she plans to use as proof.

The Public Ministry launched an investigation against Rodrigo Cuba on the basis of the serious allegations made by Ms. Paredes and the intervention of the Women’s and Vulnerable People’s Ministries (“MIMP”).
Ms. Paredes is accused of committing the crime of “r*pe” against a minor.
In response to the allegations, former Minister Rosario Sato and Ms. Ana Jara expressed their concern about the victim’s privacy and the urgency of the investigation.
Ms. Jara also expressed her regret that Ms. Melissa did not follow proper procedures for filing a criminal complaint.
She added that it is important for parents and guardians to follow proper procedures when a crime is committed against a child.
