Kai Cenat is a 21-year-old American Twitch streamer and YouTuber.

He was born on December 16, 2001, in New York City and raised in The Bronx borough by a Haitian family.

He has three siblings, an elder brother, a younger brother and a twin sister, who have all appeared on his YouTube channel.

Cenat wanted to be a comedian when he was younger, and he is well-known for his comedic videos on YouTube.

He launched his career by going live on Twitch and showcasing his talent.

Cenat is best known for his live streams on Twitch and his comedy-based content posted on YouTube.

On February 28, 2023, during a month-long subathon, he became the most-subscribed Twitch streamer of all time, beating the previous record set by fellow streamer Ludwig.

He was named “Streamer of the Year” at the 12th Streamy Awards and the 2023 Streamer Awards.

Cenat has a net worth of $1 million as of 2022, and his net worth is expected to increase as his paid subscribers increase over the years.

He has collaborated with popular music artists such as Drake, Ice Spice, Lil Baby and Lil Uzi Vert.

Recently, Cenat was charged with inciting a riot in New York’s Union Square Park after promising to give away free gaming consoles.

However, it is understood that his dad is a businessman by profession while his mother is a housewife.

Kai Cenat New York riot

Cenat organized a giveaway event in Union Square Park in New York City on August 3, 2023.

The event was intended to give away 100 PlayStation 5 consoles to his followers.

However, the event turned into chaos as thousands of people showed up, causing mayhem and vandalism.

The police were called to the scene to disperse the crowd, and several people were arrested; Cenat was subsequently charged with inciting a riot, unlawful assembly and other charges.

Cenat has since addressed the incident, expressing his disappointment and apologizing for the chaos that ensued.

He stated that he had no intention of causing harm and that he was not aware of the potential consequences of the event.

Cenat also acknowledged that he should have taken better precautions to ensure the safety of his fans and the public.

The incident has sparked a debate about the responsibility of social media influencers and their impact on society.

Some have criticized Cenat for his lack of foresight and for promoting an event that could have easily turned into a dangerous situation.

Others have defended him, arguing that he did not intend for the event to turn violent and that the responsibility lies with the individuals who chose to engage in destructive behavior.
