Collins died in a motorcycle accident in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida.
He was driving eastbound on his motorcycle along Oakland Park Boulevard just after 10 PM when a sport-utility vehicle (SUV) made a left turn and collided with him.
The impact caused Collins to go through a window of the SUV and come to rest inside the vehicle, the sheriff’s office said.
He was transported to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, where he was pronounced dead, ESPN reported.

The driver of the SUV remained on the scene and cooperated with the authorities. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
