Ordering flowers and gifts from Purpink
The Purpink website is designed in a simple way to make it easy for you to navigate and to find the products you need. Follow the instructions below and you will be one step closer to getting your favorite items delivered to your doorstep.
Identify what you require
We have created a variety of categories to make it easy for you to find what you need.
They include Flowers, Gifts for Him, Gifts for Her, Personalized Gifts, Hampers, Occasion (there are several occasions under this category such as Sympathy, Wedding, Baby Shower) Baby and Kids, Category (here, you will find several other sub-categories such as Jewelry, Chocolates, Wines and Whiskeys among others).
You can also type what you would like from the Search Box located at the top of the website, be specific about what you want eg white roses, red flower bouquet, flowers and chocolate.
Selection and preferences
(a). Click on the product you would like and select the delivery date on the calendar located at the right side of the page.
(b). Click on the Add to Cart button located below the calendar.
(c). If you need more than 1 item, adjust the quantity before selecting the Add to Cart button.
(d). Include a card message or special instructions on the box right below your order (optional)

Shipping details

(b). Enter the recipient’s details and use the code 254 as the postal code. Include the name of the apartment, estate or road and the house number.
(c). If you have a discount code, include it on the right side of the page then click Apply. The discount will then be applied to your order.
(d). Click on Continue to shipping to proceed.
Shipping method
(a). Choose the shipping method suitable for your location; Standard Nairobiwide shipping and Expedited shipping cover areas within Nairobi county only.
(b). Once you have chosen a shipping method, click on the button Continue to Payment Method.
Payment method and billing address
Purpink accepts payments via M-PESA and Credit Card (currencies permitted include USD, KES, GBP and EUR). Their site is 100% secure so you can be assured the information you enter on our site will be safe and protected.
If you choose to pay via Card, choose the Flutterwave option. You will then be directed to the payment page after clicking on the Complete Order button located at the bottom of the page.
If you are paying via M-PESA, choose the 2nd option, M-PESA. A drop down menu will appear with instructions on how to pay.
Enter the billing address. If it is the same as the shipping address, you do not need to enter the details again. Click on Same as shipping address then proceed to the Complete Order button.
Confirmation and receipt
After you have made the payment and completed the order, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided.
The email also contains the order number which you can use to track your order. If you do not receive an order confirmation email, please contact our customer care team as soon as possible to enable us to process and deliver your order on time.
Delivery
Purpink Gifts has a team of professional delivery personnel within Nairobi as well as all other towns across Kenya.
Rest assured your delivery will be professionally handled and in case of any issues (missed deliveries or lack of accurate details) our logistics personnel will call you to confirm these details.
Purpink return policy
Purpink policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as cakes, flowers, or chocolates cannot be returned. The company also do not accept products that are intimate such as jewelry.
Other non-returnable items are;

- Downloadable software products such as gift cards

- Fresh produce eg Fruit baskets
To complete your return, you must produce a receipt or proof of purchase. The receipt can be downloaded from the email address used when placing the order
Damages
Purpink must receive notification of damaged products within 24 hours of delivery. They require a picture of the damaged item to be emailed at sales@purpink.co.ke for a review.
For products damaged during delivery, please keep all original packing material for courier inspection in order to file a claim with the courier service. Once we receive the package in our office, we will assess it and give feedback within 48 hours.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, Purpink will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. They will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within three working days.
Late or missing refunds: If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank or M-PESA account again. Then contact your bank or Safaricom, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items: Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Gifts: If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift card will be mailed to you.
If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, Purpink will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Purpink only accept returns sent back to us via Fargo Courier or our riders.

Can I pay on delivery?
Unfortunately, Purpink does not accept payment on delivery. You are required to make full payments for your order as well as delivery fee before we can dispatch your order. If you would like to see how your order has been packaged, make a request through our customer service numbers +254 702 100 100 or +254 711 111 864 and photos will be sent to you before the items are dispatched for delivery.

How can I get a receipt when I order online?
An invoice will be sent to your email address once you complete your order. The invoice serves as the receipt. You can leave it in your email or print it out if you want to keep records.
Can I make an order through phone or do I need to order on the website?
On off-peak days, you can place an order through the phone either through a phone call or via WhatsApp. Call or WhatsApp us on +254 702 100 100 or +254 711 111 864 to get assistance.
However, it is strongly advice that you familiarize yourself with placing an order on the website. During peak days, agents may delay to place your order if given via call or WhatsApp considering the increased workload.
Can I send an order anonymously?
Yes, you can. As you place your order, you can request that we do not disclose your details to the recipient. However, it is adviced that you directly inform the recipient since most people would like to know who sent them such lovely flowers or gifts.
Will the flowers and gifts I order look exactly like what I see on the website?
Purpink strives to provide you with the exact flower arrangement you see on our website. However, there are times we may need to make changes when there is a shortage of the product. You can be assured we will still maintain the same quality of your package in the case of any substitutions.
Can I specify when I want my delivery to be done?
Yes, you can. They have an expedited delivery option where we dedicate one rider to deliver your order at the exact specified time at an extra cost of Ksh 1000. This option is applicable for locations within Nairobi County only.
For standard deliveries, it is not possible to specify an exact time of delivery. However, you can specify if you want your order to be delivered during the morning hours or during the afternoon hours.
What if the recipient is not at the specified location?
If the recipient is not at the address, Purpink will schedule the package to be returned to their office and assigned to another rider once the location has been confirmed. Considering the delivery team is outsources, you may incur an extra delivery charge for the 2nd delivery.
What do I need to know about ordering personalized items?
Personalized items require a working day. If you order a personalized item today, you will receive it tomorrow. Before they can personalize an item, we will send you an artwork for approval either via Whatsapp or Email. The sooner you approve the artwork the earlier we can deliver your personalized item.
Kindly ensure you have given us feedback on the artwork before they close at 6 pm as late approvals may cause your delivery to be delayed to the next day.
Once you have approved the artwork and the order has been forwarded to our design team, we are not able to make any changes on the order
Do you deliver on Sundays?
Yes, Purpink delivery timelines are between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
