Maisha Magic East is set to air a new reality show featuring Kenya’s biggest female gospel artists among other personalities.
The new show, Oh Sister, casts 7 famous Kenyan female gospel celebrities namely;
- Millicent Wambui (Milly Wa Jesus)
- Linet Munyali (Size 8)
- Beatrice Wanjiku (Betty Bayo)
- Bernice Nduko (Lady Bee)
- Veronica Mushana (Nicah the Queen)
- Janet Otieno
- Priscilla Ndanu Maina
The show goes behind the scenes and gives us an insider look into the lives of these Kenya’s most beloved gospel stars.
It will air the first episode on April 7, 2023.
Oh Sister cast
1. Priscilla Ndanu Maina
Priscilla Ndanu Maina is an entrepreneur and a talented make-up artist that is the go-to for the entire cast.
She is ambitious and determined and has built a name for herself as a beauty professional. Kind and caring, she is everyone’s confidant.
2. Milly Wa Jesus
Alias Millicent Wambui, Milly Wa Jesus is one of Kenya’s most prominent influencers, she is a proud wife and mother of two.
Her family is everything to her, and she will stand beside them despite anything thrown her way. She is open, honest, and determined to remain candid with her fanbase.
3. Nicah The Queen
Verinica Mushana aka Nicah The Queen is a single mother who is doing a fantastic job at raising her two beautiful children, despite the constant pressure and scrutiny from social media. She finds strength in her spirituality, which keeps her going.
She brings the soap opera to the show with her sweetheart of two years, who she is intentionally making part of her family.
4. Janet Otieno
Janet Otieno is one of the most prominent gospel artists in Kenya and remains relevant and influential in the space.
She takes pride in her hard work and the good life she has built for her family in the 26 years of marriage. Amongst the other women, she is the well of wisdom on life matters.
5. Size 8
Linet Munyali or Size 8 Size 8 has come a long way from her days in secular music. Her faith and spirituality are something that makes her very proud.
Her family is the most important thing to her, and she would do anything for them. Her family has, at times, been at the centre of controversy, but she and her husband continue to work at bettering their marriage.
Size 8 works hard to guide and be an example to other women.
6. Lady Bee
Lady Bee started as a secular artist. After struggling with an addiction that eventually affected her relationship with her daughter, she decided to turn her life around.
Lady Bee is now a present and loving mother and a devout Christian.
7. Betty Bayo
Betty Bayo has worked hard at her gospel music career and has been able to turn her humble beginnings into a successful life and career. She is navigating her new reality with a blended family.
She is doing her best to provide her children with the best life possible and is keen on educating others on the principles of a blended family.
