Nairobi, Kenya – Actress Sarah Hassan and Nancie Mwai have received nominations in Africa in a Style and Fashion Award segment set to be held in the neighbouring country, Uganda.
The actor and the content creator have been nominated for the most stylish personality and female fashionista, respectively.
The awards are sponsored by Abranz Collection. The Kenyan actor, Sarah, will have to battle it out with other renowned figures in fashion across Africa for the most stylish personalities in Africa.
The biggest names include Nana Akua Addo, Anele Mdoda, Toke Manikwa, Official Doyin, and Allysyn Audu.
The content creator, Nancie, will face Priscilla Anyabu, Hali Oduor, Diana Eneje, Denise Dainty, and Chevonne Spirine for the female fashionista award.
During the announcement, the Ugandan-based fashion line, Abryanz Collection, Sarah thanked the rand and said the nomination came “Just in Time.”
She reiterated, “Sending you some major good vibes this Monday morning. Huge thank you to Abryanz Styles and Fashion Awards for the nomination. Grateful.”
The parent company sponsoring the African Fashion Awards considers itself the biggest in the continent and attracts the best names from all over Africa.
The company seeks to appreciate African fashion talent and stakeholders on the continent’s biggest red carpet.
The Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFA) returns on 16th December 2022 at the Serena Hotel in Uganda’s capital after breaking for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This will be the 8th edition of the Awards celebrating influencers, creatives, and contributors across Africa in the Fashion industry who played vital roles throughout the pandemic and the awakening period.
