Nairobi, Kenya – Renowned singer and songwriter, Nikita Kering, is tickled pink as she joins exclusive ranks of few talented local musicians to be featured on the New York Times Square Billboard.

This comes days after Spotify signed a deal with Nikita Kering to be the streaming app’s Equal Africa program ambassador for November.

The deal coincides with her release of her hit album ‘The Other Side’ which exposed the immense talent she possesses.

She went to her Instagram to share her thrill stating,

“I’m just grateful Equal Africa Ambassador. Thank you, Spotify Africa, for the opportunity to represent this initiative. Cheers to many more wins.”

With its rich art culture and a population of over 8 million people, New York presents a perfect opportunity for music artists like Nikita to thrive.

It opens her music to a new audience while boosting her fame to new celebrity status.

Getting an opportunity to post on the same spot costs between $5000 to north of $50000 for a day. The Times Square largest billboard can cost up to $3 million to post an advent.

The nomination puts Nikita in an elite list of female artists from the Africa, previously featured on the program.

She joins the likes of Bahati, Khaligraph and Sauti Sol that have had a chance on the coveted advertisement space in New York.

Her showcase of compassion, confidence and fierceness is immensely paying off as she makes big moves.

Such a win only places the sky as the limit to how far her career could get.
